“ Lowkey spot. Owned by an elder couple, who serve the most crunchy katsu ever. All their rice bowls are great. Service is genuine and friendly. Fair prices and good portions; always end up with leftovers for lunch. ”
“ This place is far the best Korean joint in the Cerritos and Artesia area. We started going to this place for almost 11 years now when they were still under TangPalPal name and changed it to K food express. The owners are far the most friendlier people we know and the food is amazing particularly the bowl selections such the galbi-tang ( beef soup). The ambience is clean and pleasant. 10/10 stars. ”
“ service was nice, The staff were kind and friendly. The food came out quick and was incredibly tasty. ”
“ The food was delicious and the service was amazing!! Very homey atmosphere and very tidy. It was a great experience!! ”
“ Simple, fresh, and delicious! Korean street food! Very much a small business which may be the reason for the menu continuously changing ever so slightly Good sized portions, food was hot and fresh. Our Order: - Beef Bulgogi Kim-Bap (20 pieces) - Seaweed Glass Noodle - Spicy Pork Cup-Bap ”
“ First of all, this place is open late which is awesome. Ordered the cup-bap with chicken and it was pretty good. The chicken could've been more moist but overall it was tasty and I added a bunch of Sriracha on top. Then we ordered takboki with ramen. Not the best I've had but it was decent enough and we finished everything. Service was great, the worker was really nice. Food took a little while but we didn't a mind because it means it's made to order. Prices are a little too high for the portion size. Overall good experience and I would go back. ”
“ I tried this place for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed it. I got the donkatsu cup bap and the portion was huge and super generous. The donkatsu had a nice thickness and overall tasted so good, on par with more expensive sit down restaurants in the area. The service was also efficient and accommodating. Definitely recommended for a quick bite if you're in the area. The interior was also clean and nice. ”
“ This place is so good! It has become one of our main go-to takeout places for some good high quality food. It's a nice little mom & pop shop, but their food is always on point. Their donkatsu is always light and crispy, and the presentation in their cup bops is always really nice. They're both super friendly and at this point recognize me when I come in for pickups. They used to close super early, around 6, and now they're open until 11, which is great when I crave their food for a late dinner. The only thing is they no longer sell their kim bap rolls, which were also really good. Maybe and hopefully they bring those back one day, but this spot is a must-try for the locals either way. ”
“ K Food Express saved the day for us. We were figuring out where to eat before hitting the road back to San Francisco. However, during the holidays, everywhere was so packed and we needed something yummy, filling, and no wait time. K Food Express helped with all that. Summary: Food: 8/10 rating Service: 10/10 rating Parking: 10/10 rating What we ordered: Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap: 9/10 rating Kimchi Fried Rice: 9/10 rating Garlic Butter Shrimp: 7-8/10 rating Gimmari (fried seaweed rolls): 10/10 rating **Food came with Eomuk/Oden (fish cake soup) - so good Considering this mom and pop shop is an express establishment, the food was so so yummy and filling. The food was made fresh to order and I LOVED how they were served in to-go containers already. It lived up to the name of the restaurant. The owners were so kind, sweet, and always smiling. It was so adorable. I loved that there was complimentary barley tea and you can get as much as you want. I wish they had soap in their bathrooms. ”
“ I saw the high reviews for this place on Yelp so I decided to stop by for a quick meal. I ordered a beef bulgogi kim-bap. Let me start off with saying that the rolls here are HUGE while still maintaining a great meat to veggies to rice ratio. The flavor of the beef bulgogi was really good and the veggies in the roll complemented it really well. This seems like it's a mom and pop store and it's only the two of them working there. Service here is friendly but my only complaint is that there was a decent wait for my food even though I was the only one in the store. I assume they make the food fresh to order and that's why it took a while, so I didn't mind it as much. The store itself is nicer than I expected; it looks unassuming on the outside but the inside is really bright and modern. It is located in a small plaza and there was plenty of parking when I went. Overall, I'm happy that I tried this place and will definitely return on the future to reorder the kim-bap and to try other items on the menu! ”
